EXAMPLE:(+ or -)-(3R,4R)-4-[(3R and 3S)-3-hydroxy-(E)-1-octenyl]-3-[6-carboxy-(Z)-2-hexenyl]tetrahydropyran. USE:An agent for alleviating orthostatic hypotension, or an agent for alleviating amygdaline ache. PREPARATION:A novel compound shown by the formula II or its salt (e.g., potassium salt, etc.) is olefinized, to give a compound shown by the formula I or its salt. The compound shown by the formula I has an inhibitory action on blood platelet aggregation, constricting action of coronary vessel, etc.
