PURPOSE:To obtain a discriminated result of high reliability in a short time without depending upon human visual observation or experience by connecting a shielding wire with the core and the coil of an electric equipment, and measuring the variation in the electrostatic capacity to discriminate the impregnated state of varnish. CONSTITUTION:A varnish container 1 for containing an electric equipment 3 is mounted in a pressure vessel 7, and a vacuum evacuation device 9, an inert gas pressurizing device 10, a varnish supply tube 11 are connected with the vessel 7. Shielding wires 15 are connected with the core and the coil of the equipment 3, externally led out of the vessel 7 through a terminal 16, and connected with a varnish impregnancy automatic measuring unit 20. To impregnate by the unit, the vessel 7 is first evacuated in vacuum, varnish 2 is then supplied, inert gas is supplied, and pressurized. In this case, electrostatic capacity is detected through the wires 15, and the impregnated state is discriminated by the variation. |
