PURPOSE:To wash a filter medium of an electromagnetic filter economically and to save consumption of resources by performing primary and secondary washing and feeding back the oil captured by the filter medium of the electromagnetic filter by the primary washing to the passage of the fluid to be treated. CONSTITUTION:Mixtures of magnetic particles and oil are captured in the stage of primary washing by fine wires of a filter medium wherein such mixture having high oil content is captured at the top end of the filter medium apart farther from the fine wire, which is apt to mix in the fluid to be treated. Accordingly, by feeding back the waste liquid of the primary washing to the passage of the fluid to be treated, the loss of recovered oil is prevented. Further, such mixture contg. high Fe content captured at the part near the foot of the fine wire in the secondary washing stage is removed by the fluid and the fine wire is cleaned. Accordingly, the waste liquid of the secondary washing is discarded out of the liquid passage. Thus, the washing of the filter medium is completed. |
