发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING FLUCTUATION OF THERMAL STRESS OF CASTING MOLD IN CONTINUOUS CASTING MACHINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the thermal fatigue strength of a casting mold by controlling the surface temp. difference between the blocks prior to the use for the heat extraction of a continuous casting mold and the blocks after the use for the heat extraction and diminishing the fluctuation with of the thermal stress during the movement cycle of the blocks. CONSTITUTION:A molten metal supplied from a tundish 1 through a pouring nozzle 2 is cooled and solidified between casting molds 5 and 5 by which a steel ingot 6 is produced. The blocks 7 after the use for the heat extraction of the ingot 6 contacts again with the molten metal via coolers 8 and the cooled blocks 7 are heated up by heaters 9 before such blocks contact with the molten metal. The surface temp. difference between the block 7 just prior to the use for the heat extraction and the blocks 7 after the use for the heat extraction is thereby decreased. The fluctuation width of the thermal stress during the movement cycle of the casting mold blocks is thereby diminished and the thermal fatigue strength is improved.
