PURPOSE:To enable an observer to experience the same stereoscopic sense and realism as theose obtained at site by forming the external lines of the center axes of photographing cameras as two sides of an isosceles triangle when an object to be photographed is its vertex and setting respective cameras on positions separated from the object at always equal distance. CONSTITUTION:In an imge pick-up part, two image pick-up tubes are arranged in the horizontal direction by separating them more than the interval between human's eyes to form right-eye and left-eye cameras. These cameras are provided with functions focusing the cameras themselves on a subject on the center of the screen of the 3rd monitor camera and adjusting angles. Pictures for the right and left eyes are reproduced dividedly and simultaneously on specific positions of the screen of the same image receiving tube and delivering the right- eye picture to the right eye and the left-eye picture to the left eye on the basis of light refraction by using the characteristics of a semicylindrical lens, so that a stereoscopic picture is formed on the brain of the observer. Thus, the observer can experience stereoscopic sense by delivering individual pictures for the right and left sides to the brain of the observer. |
