PURPOSE:To extract and separate accurately the important elements of a picture signal and to attain the faithful filtering, by synthesizing outputs obtained by processing in paralle by the 1st and 2nd logical processing means. CONSTITUTION:A logical filter 10 contains a positive logical filter 10A which delivers an output f'(i, j) by the positive logical processing P and a negative logical filter 10B which obtains an output f''(i, j) by the negative logical processing N. The inputs f(t) are processed in parallel to each other by both filters 10A and 10B. At the same time, both outputs f'(i, j) and f''(i, j) are synthesized by a synthesizer 12. The output of this synthesizer 12 is processed by an attenuator 13 to deliver an output fout (i, j). The maximum level of the minimum values of plural amplitude signals adjacent to each othre with prescribed spaces is obtained by the filter 10A. While the filter 10B obtains the minimum level of the maximum value of said amplitude signals. This attains the assured extraction and separation of important elements of a picture filtering. |
