PURPOSE:To shorten the time of exchanging inks as well as lessen the residual amount of old ink by a method in which a high-viscous transparent ink is fed to the ink supplyer of a printer and confined in the inside of the pipe wall and recessions of the ink path. CONSTITUTION:A highly viscoous transparent ink of 100 poise or more, housed in a tank 13a, is flowed into a pipe 1, a coupler 2, an ink pump 3, a hose 4, and an ink rail 5 to form a covering film on the inner surfaces of the pipe wall and recessions. Since the amount of printing ink of color-A to be stayed in the ink supplyer after ending the printing of color-A is reduced and the ink is not adhered to the wall of pipe, etc., when the printing ink of color-B is sent into the ink supplyer, the printing ink of color-A is immediately discharged. |
