<p>PURPOSE:To make characteristic of an X-RAY monitor constant, and to execute a stable AGC by correcting automatically the gain of an X-RAY monitor AGC by the gain of a roll force AGC. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with an X-RAY monitor AGC gain transducer 16 to which an output from a means for obtaining an X-RAY monitor AGC (automatic plate thickness control) gain 13 is supplied. An X-RAY monitor AGC output 14 which has passed through this transducer 16 is supplied to an adding means. The gain of the X-RAY monitor AGC is corrected automatically by the gain of a roll force AGC. Accordingly, since a variation of the gain of the roll force AGC is multiplied by the X-RAY monitor AGC, the characteristic of the X-RAY monitor can be made constant without depending on the gain of the roll force AGC, and a stable AGC can be executed.</p> |
