PURPOSE:To efficiently manufacture a molded product having less displacement of a pattern by expanding an interval between molding plates in the state that the plates are bonded to the both surfaces of a thermoplastic resin sheet material. CONSTITUTION:Two molded plates 91, 91 are, for example, displaced, adjusted at the positions to a compression board 78 by an adjusting plug, clamped at the peripheral sides with a plurality of bolts, molding plate extending and contracting direction restricting tools are inserted to the centers of the sides of the plates, and rigidly clamped by clamping bolts 70 to the board 78. Thermoplastic resin sheet such as soft vinyl chloride is inserted between the plates 91 and 91, the board is closed, slightly compressed, then heated and thermally bonded at the sheet surfaces to the plates. Then, the interval of the boards are extended, air is vented from a vent hole 93 to expand the sheet to the prescribed thickness, then cooled, and further expanded at the interval of the boards. Then, the molded product 100 is separated from the plates, and can be readily removed.
