PURPOSE:To obtain a mechanical filter with good adjusting operation efficiency and excellent characteristic by changing the Young's modulus without mechanical processing and by heat treatment to a coupler. CONSTITUTION:The mechanical filter is constituted of arranging plural converters having a piezoelectric element 1 with residual polarization in a prescribed direction and a constant elastic metallic plate 2 bonded to the upper and lower faces in parallel and connecting the constant elastic metallic plate 2 with the coupler, and the desired characteristic curve 9 of the filter is obtained by processing local heating with laser light 7 to change the Young's modulus, and since adjustment is performed by changing the spot diameter or temperature of the laser light 7 without changing the mass of the coupler. |
