PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of extinguishment after ignition, by a method wherein the degree of throttle of a gas amount regulation part, which is decreased through control of a control piece, is decreased short of the minimum degree of throttle of the gas amount regulating part. CONSTITUTION:After ignition, a push control position B of a throttle valve 18 controlled by a control piece 8b is positioned this way of a high flame position A controlled by a second manual control member 9. Even if the throttle valve 18 is released from push control made by the control piece 8b through release of control of a push lever 8a from an ignition position to close a valve hole 17 with the throttle valve 18, a ratio of a change in an amount of gas fed to a main burner 1 is maintained to a relatively low value. This enables prevention of the occurrence of a trouble in which extinguishment occurs despite of that ignition is effective once during control of ignition. |
