PURPOSE:To accomplish effective prevention of crystallization without accompanying heavy doping to a selenium type photosensitive body by incorporating the noble metal element of group I of the periodic table in the inner wall of a developer feed vessel. CONSTITUTION:A developing device comprises a developer housing 113, a stirrer 109 and a sleeve 107 located in the housing 113, and a magnetic drum 103, etc., arranged in the sleeve 107, consisting of magnet groups 104, 105, 106. A hopper 110 made of plastics is installed above the housing 113. The hopper 110 is provided with a toner replenishing roller 114, and on the inside wall of the hopper 110, a region 115 contg. a noble metal element of group I of the periodic table, such as Cu, is formed. |
