<p>The catalysts for ethylene polymerisation or co-polymerisation with other olefins at above 125 deg.C and up to 3000 kg/cm2 are made by combination of a tetravalent titanium cpd., anhydrous magnesium chloride, and a phenol, thionyl chloride, organic ester or combination of these. They are combined mechanically or by use of inert solvent, at 20-120 deg.C. For each mol of MgCl2 are used 0.01-0.2 mol titanium cpd. and 0.01-0.25 mol phenol, thionyl chloride or organic ester.</p> |
