PURPOSE:To record exactly information to a disk-shaped recording medium which is rotating at angular velocity by detecting a distance to a recording position from the rotation center of the disk-shaped recording medium, and controlling an intensity of a light beam so as to be roughly proportional to this distance. CONSTITUTION:Information to be recorded is converted to a digital signal by a signal converting circuit 8 and outputted to a controlling circuit 9. Also, a position signal for showing to which recording position in the radial direction of a disk-shaped recording medium 1 an optical head 10 is positioned inputted to the controlling circuit 9 from a linear potentiometer 14, therefore, a driving current by which recording can be executed exactly is supplied to a semiconductor laser 5 from the controlling circuit 9, by which a light beam of an optimum output intensity is condensed onto the disk-shaped recording medium 1 from the semiconductor laser 5, and recording is executed. |
