PURPOSE:To obtain a stabilized printing result by providing a hydrophilic property to the surface of the tip of a printing element so that a proper quantity of ink sticks to the tip of the printing element. CONSTITUTION:The tip of a printing element 7 is made to protrude from the surface which faces the tip and, in addition, the printing element 7 is provided with a hydrophilic property with silicone which forms hydrophilic film. The tip of the printing element 7, therefore, has a hydrophilic property and it collects ink 12. In view of the above, the ink 12 at the tip of the printing element 7 is more susceptable to receive a coulomb attraction than the ink of other places is. Therefore, this ink 12, consisting of minute particles, flies well, bringing forth a stabilized printing result. |
