PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in production ability, by combining a turntable type device for molding and pressing rice balls with a turntable type packaging device. CONSTITUTION:Boiled rice is fed to the mold hole 12 by the station (ST)A, a hole is made in the boiled rice by the boring bar 12 at the ST:B, an ingredient is fed to the hole at the ST:C, the boiled rice is molded and pressed by the lowering molding and pressing plate 16 at the ST:D, to give the rice ball 9. The pushing member 18 is raised at the ST:E, the rice ball 9 is pushed up from the mold hole 12 onto the turntable 21 of the packaging device 2, and covered with the sheet S sitting on the belt 32 of the sheet conveyor 3 and waiting. The thrusting member 5 is operated, the rice ball 9 is thrust out on the ST:H, with the part hanging under the sheet S is tucked under the bottom of the rice ball 9, an edge part near the outside of the table 21 at both the ends of the sheets S is folded in such a way that it is laid on the rice ball 9, and the edge part is melted, bonded and fixed. |
