PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which performs efficiently horizontal welding without damaging a cylindrical structure by providing welding torches via finely adjustable adjusting shafts to the top ends of plural arm-shaped welding stands turning around the central shaft of the cylindrical structure. CONSTITUTION:Welding torches 11 are moved toward the outside in the radial direction by driving a screw ball screw 7 and are thus positioned then plural arm-shaped welding stands 6, 6' which can turn within the plane inclusive of the diameter around the central shaft 2 of cylindrical bodies 101, 102 themselves are turned by means of motors 8, pinions 9 and racks 4 on a support cylinder 3 by which the circumferential joint of the bodies 101, 102 is welded with a welding device for the circumferential joint consisting in providing said stands 6, 6' within the bodies 101, 102 which are superposed to form a weld line 201 and mounting the torches 11 via adjusting shafts 10 to the top ends thereof. The position of the weld line 201 is further detected by an optical image sensor 12 and is inputted to a control device part 16 which controls the horizontal radial shaft 10a and vertical driving shaft 10b of the adjusting shaft 10 thereby adjusting finely the position of the torches 11. |
