PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a stacking arrangement, provide possibility of automating and to quicken the stacking speed by furnishing two endless chains at their under surfaces with a plurality of cantilevers stretching horizontally and thereby forming an area for placing longer rods. CONSTITUTION:Two endless chains 8, 8' are installed at a thin and long frame 4, which stretches perpendicular to the transport direction of chain conveyor 1, in such an arrangement as located longitudinally along said frame 4. The areas 9, 9' for placing long rods A are provided at the undersurfaces of these chains, and two or more roller-shaped arm levers 11, 11' are installed along the longitudinal axis of the endless chains at a certain specified spacing. The areas 9, 9' travel from a position at the undersurface of endless chains 8, 8' in escaping round a pair of sprockets 5, 5' mounted at both ends to return to said original underside positions, in their reciprocative motions in the opposite directions to each other. |
