PURPOSE:To drive a diaphragm pump exceedingly stably by urging a diaphragm towards the first-chamber side through an elastic body and keeping the first chamber always in the positive-pressure state. CONSTITUTION:The diaphragm presses 28 and 29 for holding a diaphragm 24 through a bolt 26 and a nut 27 are installed into the first and the second chambers 4' and 5', respectively. The diaphragm press 29 in the second chamber 5' is urged towards the first chamber 4' side through an elastic body 31 installed between a cap 30 screwed onto a casing 23. Therefore, the first chamber 4' is always maintained in the positive-pressure state through the diaphragm 24 by the elastic body 31. |
