PURPOSE:To greatly raise the efficiency of operation as well as cut down the cost of products by automatically making printing (or stamping) on the pigeon leg bands for identification. CONSTITUTION:A pigeon leg band (a) is dropped into a chute 3 from a receiving tray 2 by a vibrator, etc., and orderly sent to the reveiving groove 5 of a disc 4. The pigeon leg band (a) is moved toward a given direction by the disc 4 being turned intermittently. At a given position, during the stoppage of the disc 4, the lever 7 of a supporter 6 is projected and fitted into the pigeon leg band (a) in the receiving groove 5, and at the same time the supporter 6 slightly goes up to support the band (a) in a state of being floated from the groove 5. A numbering device 8 move traversely to give a desired stamp on the surface of the band (a). At a given position, during the stoppage of the disc 4, the lever 11 of the feeder 10 is fitted into the stamped band (a) in the groove 5. |
