PURPOSE:To attain digital processing of each color difference signal processing as to color information only with a color difference data by reading a color signal data of signal processing from a lookup table while using the input color difference data as a read address. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted by using two RAM 51, 52 having a row address selection function, a column address function and a write/read control function as the lookup table and input color difference data D1A, D1B representing a color difference signal of a signal form with an n-bit digital data are applied to a couple of input terminals 31, 32. A microprocessor 60 operates the conversion of Equation I and writes the result of operation to RAMs 51, 52, then color signal data DOA, DOB representing color difference I, Q are outputted from a couple of output terminals 33, 34 by applying the input difference data D1A, D1B representing color signals U, V to the couple of the input terminals 31, 32. Moreover, the microprocessor 60 attains conversion shown in Equation IIin advance and writes the data to the RAM 51, 52 to attain color masking processing.
