PURPOSE:To prevent waste of paint, and to form a uniform coated film by painting only in one-way stroke of a painting nozzle which is displaced along the longitudinal direction of the recessed and protruded streaks of a corrugated plate. CONSTITUTION:The velocity when a carriage 5 is moved along a guide rail 3 and the velocity when a painting nozzle 8 is displaced by a painting nozzle reciprocating mechanism such as a hydraulic cylinder 20 and a rack 23 are determined so that the resultant vector of both velocities may be directed to the longitudinal direction of the recessed and protruded streaks of a corrugated plate 2. Consequently, since painting is carried out only in one-way stroke of the painting nozzle which is displaced along the longitudinal direction of the recessed and protruded streaks of the corrugated plate, waste of paint and formation of uneven coated films can be avoided.
