PURPOSE:To enable the ignition of a head gas burner immediately before the start of production, by using a sheathed heater to perform automatic preheating for about 30min-1hr to obtain a temperature almost equal to that of no-object heating by a stem head gas burner. CONSTITUTION:An air cylinder 5 is put into operation through the action of a timer so that electricity supply electrodes 4 are placed into contact with two electrically supply rails 3 facing the electrodes 4. After that, preset electric power is applied to the electrodes 4 through the action of a timer signal so that the power is supplied to sheathed heaters 2 connected to the rails. Immediately before the start of production, the timer finishes acting, the electric power is cutoff, and electricity applied to the air cylinder 5 is also cutoff. After that, a stem machine head gas burner is ignited to start the operation of a stem machine. No-object heating is thus abolished. Since automatic preheating is performed as the stem machine remains stopped, energy is conserved. |
