PURPOSE:To make a rearview mirror rotatable so as to cause it to be prevented from projecting sideways toward a car body in time of being unused, by installing a rotative driving device, which lets an end part of a rearview mirror unit body at the body side rotate within an almost horizontal surface, and a control device controlling the former. CONSTITUTION:Inside a housing 6, tilted and moved in all directions by this drive unit 7. A rotative driving device 4 is driven by a motor 9 and a reduction gear mechanism 10 installed in a body setting part 3A, rotating a rearview mirror unit body 5. When the motor 9 is controlled for rotation and drive, the rearview mirror unit body 5 rotates in a longitudinal direction (within an almost horizontal surface) of a car body with a turning support part 11 as a center. |
