<p>PURPOSE:To make a device simple, small-sized, and light-weight and perform the tape loading operation and the device operation mode switching operation with one driving source in a simple constitution, by adopting a driving mechanism consisting of the first and the second gears. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape is led out from a cassette and is run along a rotary head drum provided on the outside of the cassette, and signals are recorded or reproduced. A magnetic recording and reproducing device such as a video tape recorder or the like of this system is provided with the first gear 55 which is arranged rotatably around the first shaft 57 and slidably in the direction of the first axis and has a tooth trace formed on a cylinder while descriving a helical curve, the second gear 54 which bites the first gear and can be rotated around the second shaft 53, a driving means 77 which rotates and drives the first gear, the first output means 64 which is driven by movement of the first gear in the direction of the first axis, and the second output means 40 which is rotated and driven by rotation of the second gear, and the driving means is separated to a linear motion of the first output means and a rotative motion of the second output means and is outputted.</p> |
