As a substitute for devices currently used, such as scrubbing-brushes, buckets, floor-cloths or mops, the manual cleaning device is to be used for cleaning hard floors. It has in each case a dispenser for the cleaning agent and carrier material (e.g. cotton fabric, nonwoven or chemical pulp products) and combines the functions of scrubbing-brushes, buckets and floor-cloths. It serves for wiping and for picking up dirt and considerably reduces the fitting and preparation times existing in the devices previously used.
