The subject matter of the invention is a colour meter. The light emanating from an object (1) whose colour is to be established is fed to a photodetector arrangement. Arranged in the beam path of the photodetector arrangement are at least two dichroic mirrors (18, 21), of which each reflects or transmits a colour component with respect to a photoelectric receiver (20, 22).
