The inside striking position(N) and the outside striking position(M) in the printing wheel are maintained at a constant angle(&thgr;) on the horizontal axis(V) imprinting a letter. This printing method for a typewriter having a daisy wheel is characterized by the movement of the hammers respectively so that the printing type(5,6) of the inside and outside rows(3,4) are imprinted by the movement of a carriage. The daisy-wheel typewriter is composed of the printing type(5,6) of the inside and outside rows(3,4) in the printing wheel, which are sustained at a constant angle( ) oin the horizontal axis imprinting a letter.
