The invention relates to a unitised unit for use as an office area, the exterior walls and ceiling of which are supported by vertical girders. The upper ends of the vertical girders support transverse girders from which the ceiling is suspended. Both the vertical girders and the transverse girders exhibit longitudinal ducts which serve to receive electrical lines. The transverse girders further exhibit undercuts, designed as longitudinal grooves, which serve for hook-shaped suspension apparatuses which support the ceiling and the light fittings to engage behind.
