PURPOSE:To obtain an image having a high reproducing fidelity by constituting a developer consisting of a toner particle and a carrier particle so that the toner particle does not have a toner which has an electrostatic charge quantity of a prescribed magnitude and has been charged to the opposite polarity. CONSTITUTION:When a development of an electrostatic image of an image carrying body 1 is executed, a magnetic brush formed on the surface of a sleeve 2 vibrates and moves on the sleeve 2 because a magnetic flux density of its surface as the sleeve 2 or a magnet body 3 rotates, passes through a gap to the image carrying body 1, and executes a development to the surface of the image carrying body 1. In this case, a developer D consisting of a toner particle and a carrier particle is used so that said toner particle does not contain a toner which has an absolute value of a charge quantity which is larger than an absolute value of an average charge quantity of a toner particle and has been charged to the opposite polarity. In this way, a picture having a high reproducing fidelity can be obtained. |
