PURPOSE:To confirm the state of insertion and extraction at a time when a contact pin, an upper section thereof is opened and closed freely, is housed in an IC socket easily by previously boring small windows corresponding to a plurality of IC pin inserting ports outside the inserting ports when the inserting ports are aligned and formed to both side end sections of the upper surface of the IC socket. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of inserting ports 2 for inserting IC pins 8 are aligned and shaped to both side end sections of the upper surface of an IC socket 1, and small windows 3 are bored previously outside the inserting ports while being made to correspond to each inserting port 2. A contact pin 4, an upper section thereof is opened and closed freely, is received in a space in the socket 1 while a terminal 4a is projected to the outside of the socket 1, and a movable pin 5, a tip thereof has a marker 6, is fitted while being penetrated to one leg of the pin 4 through a fulcrum 7. The pin 5 is turned and the upper section of the pin 4 is opened, the IC pin 8 is inserted into the upper section of the pin 4, and the pin 5 is returned to an original state when extracting the IC pin. The position of the marker 6 is detected from the small windows 3 on such operation, and the correct insertion and extraction of the IC pin 8 are discriminated. |
