摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the firing performance by mounting a plurality of firing plugs (for example, four) on every cylinder to produce a plurality of sparks continuously for proper interval with quite short period thereby eliminating insufficient firing energy under high speed rotation. CONSTITUTION:The output signal from a firing timing detector 5 provided with a pickup 53 is shaped through a shaper circuit 6 to produce ''1'' signal corresponding with the firing timing. While the output signal from a cylinder decision circuit 8 provided with a pickup 82 is shaped through a shaper circuit 6' to produce a cylinder decision signal. Output signals from shaper circuits 6, 6' are fed to a trigger signal generator 9 to produce two trigger signals phase shifted by 180 deg. and repeating with short period for predetermined interval on the basis of both signals. Said trigger signal will cause switching function of each power circuit 18a-18d provided in each cylinder for predetermined interval to fire four firing plugs 241a,..., 244d provided on each cylinder.
