PURPOSE:To reduce the number of working stages and the number of parts by forming a steering arm part, a tie rod arm part and a knuckle spindle part as one body from spheroidal graphite cast iron having a specified structure. CONSTITUTION:A steering arm part 4, a tie rod arm part 5 and a knuckle spindle part 6 are formed as one body by casting from spheroidal graphite cast iron having a mixed structure consisting of bainite and retained austenite. A steering knuckle 7 formed by this method has a reduced weight, so effects such as reduction in the cost of fuel, improvement in the safety and reduction in the manufacturing cost are attained.
