PURPOSE:To attain high speed dubbing even for a signal having a large amount of recording information by recording a signal inputted during one revolution of a rotary magnetic head while applying time compression. CONSTITUTION:Digital information of audio 2-channel is inputted to an input terminal 17, and after the input is converted into an input data format in matching with a digital VTR, the signal is applied with time axis compression at a audio- video converter 18 in a way of <=1/15 for the audio information included in one revolution of the drum while the tape is run at the 1/15 of the normal tape running speed, the result is recorded on the 1st part 22-1 of the track and recorded on 22-2, 22-3...22-15 sequentially at every revolution of the track. The tape in high speed dubbing is reproduced by a digital VTR19 (with running speed of 1/15), the signal is fed to a video-audio converter 20, then the digital audio information inputted from the input terminal 17 is obtained from an output terminal 21. |
