PURPOSE:To make the adjustment of pressing force in an upper blade against a lower one easy and its value keepable to be constant at all times, by installing a first cylinder, which presses the upper blade to the lower one with constant pressure, and a second cylinder, which makes the first cylinder go up or down. CONSTITUTION:In case of a device cutting a beltform material P, for example, a rubber-like material being reinforced with a steel wire, a carriage 20 is set up in the upper part of a lower blade 5, while a second cylinder 31, making a first cylinder 40 go up or down, is installed as well. And, since air pressure to be fed to the inside of a cylinder chamber 32a is constant in value, pressing force of an upper blade 47 against the lower blade 5 is always kept to being constant. Furthermore, only the air pressure fed to this chamber 32a is adjusted, such optimum pressing force as preventing a cutting failure and irregularity in cutting faces from occurring is easily securable. In addition, adjustment of suchlike air pressure is performable in a very easy manner when a pressure control valve is used for this end. |
