PURPOSE:To prevent vibration in accordance with change in the vibration condition by fixing a vibration sensor to a mirror body to control the operation of a damper interconnecting the mirror body and a mirror housing with signals from the sensor. CONSTITUTION:When signals from vibration sensors 12, 12' fixed to a mirror body 1 are smaller than a set value of a microprocessor, current is not supplied to a solenoid 7e of a damper 7 interconnecting the mirror body 1 and a mirror housing 3, and the mirror body 1 is not restricted. When the amplitude of the mirror body 1 increases and the signals of the sensors 12, 12' exceed the set value, current is supplied to the solenoid 7e to fixedly adsorb a rod 7a by its magnetic force. The damper 7 is operated by this fixed adsorption to damp the vibration of the mirror body 1 fixed to the rod 7a with the viscous resistance of viscous liquid 7c. Further, the current supply to the solenoid 7e is stopped to release the damper 7 from the operation when a mirror driving motor switch is turned on. |
