PURPOSE:To restart quickly system processing at a system down time or the like by saving variable information in another area periodically and restoring it selectively. CONSTITUTION:Normally, variable information 5n saved in an external storage device is the latest information just before system down; and though the system can be restarted if this information is normal, the system cannot be restarted if information 5n is broken. An operator discriminates whether information 5n is normal or not in accordance with the system processing state before system down and selects and designates variable information, which are saved when the system is operated normally, from variable information 51-5n to issue a restoring command. Thus, the system processing can be restarted unless periodically saved variable information are broken completely. Since abnormality is detected by monitor of the system before they are broken completely, breakdown is restrained to a minimum. |
