The invention relates to a vehicle wheel which is cast in one part, consists of a steeply tapered full-drop centre rim and a wheel disc, connected to the full-drop centre, or an adaptor ring, the edge of the wheel disc or the edge of the adaptor ring merging, as an extension of the floor of the full-drop centre into its outer contour without a step. In order further to improve the conditions for removing the tyre in the case of vehicle wheels cast from one piece and to facilitate fitting of the associated tyre, it is proposed according to the invention that the outer shoulder (5, 15) be lengthened towards the full-drop centre (4, 14) with an axial ring (7, 17), ribs (9, 19) being arranged distributed over the circumference between the axial ring and the full-drop centre and merging with the full-drop centre via sloping portions and rounded-off portions (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
