PURPOSE:To make more replete composite mail service by using voice information service together with other service functions. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal transmits an FAX picture, a mail service controlling section 4 judges whether the terminal requests voice information service or not. In the case where request setting for voice information service is made, information of objective terminal is examined at the time of exchange transmission of the FAX information. When the objective terminal is making refusal setting for receiving voice information service, the FAX picture is transmitted as it is. Needless to say, other service functions can work even at this time. When objective terminal does not refuse receiving of voice information service, telephone terminal provided corresponding to the objective terminal is called. Information service is made by voice to the replier to the effect that an FAX picture (mail information) will be sent. At the same time, above-mentioned FAX picture is transmitted. |
