PURPOSE:To obtain a high-sensitivity temperature sensor which is stable mechanically, chemically, and thermally by cutting a crystal piece in such a cutting direction that high-precision linear frequency-temperature characteristics are obtained and sensitivity to temperature is high. CONSTITUTION:An X, an Y, and Z axis are the electric, mechanical, and optical axes of crystal. The crystal piece for the sensor is obtained by rotating the plate perpendicular to the Y axis by + or -1 deg. around the Z axis as an axis of rotation and further rotating it counterclockwise by theta=-2 deg. + or -6 deg. around the X' axis obtained by said rotation. |
