PURPOSE:To enable a sag of a ribbon to be easily adjusted, by a construction wherein a driving gear is fixed to a pulley rotary shaft, a gear-switching plate is provided so that it can be turned, and a planetary gear engaged with the driving gear is rotatably fitted to the plate. CONSTITUTION:To adjust the sag of the ribbon 23, a ribbon-feeding knob 5 is turned, whereby a free gear 21 is rotated through a ribbon payout roller 4, a ribbon payout shaft 18 and a gear 19. Since a shaft 16 for the planetary gear 15 is provided on the gear-switching plate 13 and can be freely rotated with the driving gear 14 as a center, when the free gear 21 is rotated, the gear 15 receives a force for escaping from the free gear 21 together with the plate 13, whereby the engagement is released. Accordingly, when feeding the ribbon 23 directly by the knob 5, the knob 5 can be easily rotated. |
