PURPOSE:To improve remarkably easy to see picture by providing a mirror to an upper face opposite to a liquid crystal panel of a main body, opening a liquid crystal television display section at an acute angle to the mirror, reflecting the television display on a mirror face and observing th display with a virtual image. CONSTITUTION:An antenna 302 is provided externally and a tuning dial 304, a sound volume dial 306, a light adjusting dial 308, a tuning indicator 310, a television band changeover switch 312 and a power source switch are provided to the right side of the main body 300. A mirror 316 is mounted to a recessed part provided to the center of the main body. The liquid crystal display section 318 consists of a panel support frame 402, an upper windshield 404, a light scattering plate 406, a liquid crystal cell 414 formed by sealing a liquid crystal layer 412 between the upper glass 408 and the lower glass 410, a polarized plate 416 provided to the upper face of the upper glass and the lower face of the lower glass a lower wind shield 418, a line drive circuit 224 and screen drive circuits 226, 227.
