The subject of the invention is a monocycle with a balance bar enabling it to move along the ground in equilibrium. Referring to the drawing, 1 is a wheel, 2 a balance bar pivoting about the axis of the wheel by two rods 3, small wheels (casters) 4 stabilise the assembly at rest by being placed at each end of the balance bar and a handrail 5 serves for maintaining equilibrium. Use by those keen on balancing and speed sports like roller skates, skateboards, skis, sailboards. <IMAGE>
