The subject of the present invention is a moulding method and device for the manufacture of panels for lining ceilings and walls and panel obtained, which panel is characterised in that it consists of a foam layer 7a, one of the large faces 7c of which comprises timber strips 7d which are spaced apart and between which the foam fills up the said spaces, these spaces being delimited by uneven foam protrusions 7f extending along and/or underneath the longitudinal edges of the said strips 7d. It can be applied to the construction of false ceilings and wall linings, or to the conversion of attics by means of inner-roofing panels. <IMAGE>
