PURPOSE:To attain power saving by controlling the rate of reduction in the transmission power in response to the reception level. CONSTITUTION:When a mobile device transmits no voice signal or control signal in a mobile radio equipment making correspondence with a base station, the transmission output of the mobile device is reduced to a degree where the receiving electric field level at the base station is not decreased to a level or below interrupting compulsively a communication line during talking. That is, the mobile device is provided with a transmission output control section A comprising a reception electric field level detector 20, a reference voltage source 14, a comparator 9, a switching transistor 15 turned on/ off with the transmission input and a voltage-controlled variable resistor section 11 varied in response to the detection level of the detector 20. The control section A controls a transmission section 4 to obtain a rated transmission output when a line is set between the mobile device and the base station and a voice signal or a control signal exists from a microphone 1, and decreases the transmission output to a prescribed level not interrupting the communication line in response to the reception level of a base station signal by the detector 20 when the said output does not exist. |
