The hanging device includes a holder (2) which forms a winding space (4) in which a winding spindle (6) is loosely arranged. The winding spindle (6) can be actuated by means of a tool (8). The holder (2) contains a blocking device (10) which engages on the hanging band (14) counter to the unwinding direction of the latter. The hanging device is furthermore provided with a clamping device (12). As a result, a hanging device is obtained which is very simple and thus inexpensive, on the one hand, and very effective on the other hand. <IMAGE>
