PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body high in sensitivity and durability by incorporating a specified bis type hydrazone compd. as a carrier transfer material in a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The binder resin of the photosensitive layer formed on a conductive substrate contains a bis type hydrazone compd. represented by the formula in which A is allyl, propargyl, 1-18C optionally substd. alkyl, cinnamyl, or optionally substd. phenyl, R1 is H, optionally subtd. phenyl, or <=4C alkyl, and n is 0 or 1. The photosensitive layer contains in addition to said compd., as a carrier transfer material, a trisazo or bisazo pigment, or phthalocyanine pigment. An electron attractive compd. capable of combining with this hydrazone compd. to form a carrier transfer complex, and still more increasing a sensitizing effect may be added. As a result, the obtained org. type electrophotographic sensitive body is high in sensitivity and durability. |
