PURPOSE:To produce a drink, drinkable easily, and effective for beauty culture of women, by drying a medicinal herb extract consisting essentially of adlay instantaneously into granules. CONSTITUTION:Adlay seeds mainly, rhizome of Aloe arborescens Mill. var. natalensis Breg. and Polygonatum falcatum A. Gray, leaf of Atemiscia princeps Pamb. and total herb of Houttuynia cordata Thunb. are dried in the sun, dried and cut finely and wholly decocted in an earthen pot to reduce the amount of water to about half. A mandarin orange peel or lemon fruit juice and honey are added to the resultant decoction, further decocted a little and filtered through cloth to give a medicinal herb extract, which is then instantaneously dried under heating into granules. |
