PURPOSE:To form the selective absorption film, high in absorption rate and low in radiating rate, by a method wherein an iron plate is used for the base material of a heat collecting plate and electroless plating of Ni-P is applied on the surface of the base, thereafter, the base is heated to a sprcified temperature in oxidizing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:Inexpensive and easily available iron series metallic plate is used to make the base plate of the heat collecting plate instead of conventional aluminum or aluminum alloys and the electroless plating of Ni-P having the thickness of 0.2-3mum is applied on the surface of the base plate, then, the film of plating is oxidized and colored in the atmosphere to form the selective absorption film having prominent heat collecting characteristics. In order to color the film of this plating, it is processed by heating it in the atmosphere to a temperature of 350-410 deg.C. According to this method, the surface of the film having beautiful dark blue shade and a high commercial value, may be obtained and the heat collecting characteristics thereof is equal or higher as compared with the conventional selective absorption film. |
