<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a constant frequency generator by transmitting power of a main engine through a planetary gear mechanism to a main generator. CONSTITUTION:One of powers produced from main engine is coupled with a carrier 11 of a planetary gear mechanism 5 as it is, and the other drives a sub generator 6 through gears 2, 3. The output of the generator 6 is supplied through a transistor 7 to a geared motor 8 coupled with a gear 9 of a planetary gear mechanism 12. The solar gear 13 of the mechanism 5 is coupled with a main generator 10. The transistor 9 is controlled in response to the deviation between the rotating speed of the main engine and the rated speed of the generator 10, thereby controlling the motor 8 to rotate the generator 10 at the rated speed.</p> |
